White Putty Cement – NCL Putties

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

NCL White Cement Putty is a white cement based, polymer modified dry mix putty, specially made to work on levelled, cement sponge finished interior and exterior surfaces.

NCL White Cement Putty can easily be mixed manually or by machine at site. Only specified quantity of potable water needs to be added at site and follow simple mixing procedure to get a uniform paste. NCL White Cement Putty has excellent blade run and workability.

NCL White Cement Putty is factory premixed dry powder mix consisting of white cement, finely selected inorganic fillers, polymer and other fine aggregates to facilitate surface adhesion, workability and surface smoothness.

COVERAGE

SURFACE PREPARATION

Ensure that the surface should be free from dust, oil, grease, paints, loose foreign particles /materials and curing agents which may affect adhesion
Fill the cavities
Wet the surface before application without leaving excess water

MIXING

Before mixing begins, wear hand gloves & goggles for protection. Take 7 litres of plain water in a tub and slowly add 20 kg. dry wall putty into the tub under slow speed electrical mixer or the same can be mixed manually with proper safety precautions. Leave the dough for 10 minutes and check the material consistence, if required add the remaining water, check the consistence and ease of blade movement then proceed for application. The mixed material should used within 150 minutes at RT.

APPLICATION

At the time of application, the above dough should be free from lumps
For better results, use one full bag for mixing
For ease of application & to save time use quality bigger putty blade
For better performance wet the surface

1st Coat application:

Apply the above material with a putty blade from bottom to top to achieve a thickness of 2 to 4mm and leave it for 8 hours to dry when the temperature is above 35°C and if the temperature is below 35°C leave it for a minimum of 12 hours to dry.

2nd Coat application:

Apply the second coat horizontally after fulfilling the above condition point to get an overall thickness range from 4 to 8 mm. leave it for 72 hours to dry to achieve the minimum required properties

Do not apply the 2nd Coat if you see wetness on the 1st Coat even after 12 hours drying time

After 72 hours of drying time, apply Skim Coat NCL White Cement Putty 1127. After 72 hours carry out sanding with 320 and above grade emery paper to make the surface smooth & remove blade marks

Curing time: Minimum 7 days are required to achieve the complete product’s properties in summer season (above 35°C) and 10 days are required for other seasons (below 35°C)
