PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

NCL Grey Coarse 1145 is a grey cement-based polymer modified dry mix material specially made to work on coarse plastered walls on interior and exterior surfaces. NCL Grey Coarse 1145 can easily be mixed manually or by machine at site. Only specified quantity of potable water needs to be added at site and follow simple mixing procedure to get a uniform paste.

NCL Grey Coarse 1145 can be applied over coarse cement surface and levelled with one-meter-long box profile for better levelling and to cover surface undulations. While a single coat application is sufficient to cover minor undulations, however, if the undulations are more, a second coat may be applied. For smooth finish Skim Coat - 1127 can be applied over NCL Grey Coarse 1145.

SURFACE PREPARATION

• Ensure that the surface is free from dust, oil, grease, paints, loose foreign particles / materials, efflorescence and curing agents which may otherwise affect adhesion
• Fill the cavities
• Wet the surface before application without leaving excess water

APPLICATION

• For better results, use one full bag for mixing
• For ease of application & to save time use quality bigger putty blade
• For better performance wet the surface
1st Coat application:

• Apply the above material with the help of a Putty blade from bottom to top to achieve a thickness of 2 to 4mm and leave it for 8 hours to dry when the temperature is above 35°C and if the temperature is below 35°C leave it for a minimum of 12 hours to dry.
2nd Coat application:

• Apply the second coat horizontally after fulfilling the above condition point – a to get overall thickness range 4 to 8 mm. Leave it for 72 hours to dry to achieve the minimum required properties
• Do not apply the 2nd coat if the wetness on the 1st coat is visible even after 12 hours of drying
• After 72 hours of drying apply the Skim Coat NCL White Cement Putty 1127. After 72 hours carry out sanding with 320 and above grade emery paper to make the surface smooth & remove blade marks
• Curing time: Minimum 7 days are required to achieve the complete product’s properties during summer season (above 35°C) and 10 days are required for other seasons (below 35°C)
